The electrogalvanizing (EGL) process requires robust mixed-metal oxide (MMO) titanium anodes in order to meet a wide variety of production requirements.  We provide new anode fabrication and MMO recoat services for all types of cell configurations- vertical, horizonal, gravitel or radial cell designs.

The operation of De Nora DSA® anodes in EGL processes promotes plating uniformity across the web of the steel coil.  This ensures an outstanding corrosion resistance, formability, and paint adhesion when zinc electroplating for the automotive and appliance market. 

Our insoluble anodes have been largely adopted worldwide by leading producers of EGL steel, proving to be reliable and performing for more than 40 years.

A good engineering design should have an operating current density in the range of 5-15 kA/m2 and an anode size of 0.15-2.65 m2. Our Oxygen Evolving MMO Coating product line can meet customer requirements in terms of product life, performance and cost.
